Genus: Pseudacraea Westwood. This mysterious butterfly is found in Namibia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and deep in the Nigerian rainforest. They're also known as 'Afrotropical'. This brooch is a bit larger than the usual Trovelore brooch, with a wingspan of 8cms across, and 6cms long.
